Questions about waivers for emergency closure days are also directed to the district office. Email PowerSchoolSupport@sccharter.org
Determine if and how school calendar changes impact your 45th, 90th, or 135th in-session day of school.
If attendance codes, such as SC-ISS or SC-OSS, were prepopulated on closure dates, remove those values before adjusting the PowerSchool calendar. If students had ISS or OSS Incidents with attendance associated with closure days, update the Incident Action to reflect the correct dates and address the gaps in the ISS or OSS days.
On eLearning days, the only valid present code is SC-VIRM. Do not use SC-VIRM until eLearning days are coded in your PowerSchool calendar.
Determine if section enrollment entry and/or exit dates are impacted. If so, submit a ticket to PowerSchoolSupport@sccharter.org for support adjusting those dates.
After implementing adjustments in PowerSchool, review Level Data for errors and make any needed corrections.

Enter which board(s) (school and/or state) forgave the day in the Note field. A distinction is required for accountability.
To avoid modifications that could impact the funding reports for the 45th and/or 135th day, a day not previously designated as in-session may be marked as such using the method described above. For example, if the district was waiting on board approval to forgive a day, and that decision was not reached until very close to the 135th day, the district may want to mark a Saturday in May in-session in order to avoid recalculating 135th day funding reports. As usual, the district would then make a note indicating which board(s) (school and/or state) forgave the day in the Notes field for that Saturday.
Failure to adhere to this procedure may result in significant repercussions for accountability measures and funding reporting accuracy.
Potential make-up days added to a school calendar should not be designated as in-session or in membership until they are actually utilized. For funding and accountability purposes, the number of days in each school’s calendar marked as in session and in membership must equal at least 180 after all makeup and forgiven days are accounted for. Operating outside of this specification will affect accountability and funding.

Final grade reporting terms are the store bins configured on the Final Grade/Reporting Term Setup page.
When scheduling terms are modified, this may cause the beginning or ending date of some final grade reporting terms to fall outside of the intended scheduling term.
Example: A Semester 2 final grade may be setup as S2 beginning 1/12/2009 and ending 5/22/2009. Final grade dates must be changed to occur within the new dates for Semester 2.

Click on the term to be updated.
Click Submit
Enter the necessary adjustments to the start and end dates corresponding to the final grade term.
Repeat these steps as necessary for other final grade terms.
