An Individual Graduation Plan (IGP) is a student specific educational plan detailing the courses necessary for the student to prepare for graduation and to successfully transition into the workforce or postsecondary education.
Beginning in grade 8, an IGP is required annually through grade 12. Data included in an IGP is documented in PowerSchool.
Per South Carolina Legislation H 3714, certified school counselors must approve all completed IGPs.
Career specialists and other educators on the student support team may assist in conducting IGPs under the guidance of a certified school counselor.
The EEDA Legislative requirement is for 100% of students in grades 8-12 to have an individual conference with at least one parent or official parental designee in attendance.
IGP majors, clusters and courses are added at the district level. PowerSchool administrators do not have access to add IGP majors, clusters, or courses in PowerSchool.
To request IGP majors, clusters, complete the IGP Request Form and email it to PowerSchoolSupport@sccharter.org.
